Facebook posts new proposed terms of service after reviewing user feedback via The Verge

Explaining the proposed changes point by point, the company is careful to note that one of the practices that caused the most concern — that Facebook apps used by your friends can access your data even if you haven’t added the app yourself — was outlined in its privacy policy back in 2007, and that if the default behavior isn’t to your liking, you can indeed limit the ability underneath your privacy settings.
