Intel Shows Off Ultrabook-Tablet Hybrid Running Windows 8 via WIRED

If you have been following news of ASUS’ Transformer, you probably wouldn’t be unfamiliar with this new hybrid technology by Intel.

Essentially it is a Tablet + Laptop hybrid, the touchscreen is fully-functional, and if you wish to use it as a tablet, just slide the screen down and it will rest nicely on the keyboard. And as shown the the image above, the screen can be propped up against the keyboard, like a standard laptop.

So yes this isn’t new technology but the way that Intel has designed it to be certainly looks promising.
